Improvements in Ashland

i've gone through ashland a few times on my way to the lake. the first time i thought it was kind of cute but didn't have much there that justified stopping. now, each time i drive through i see improvements that are making this cute little town more interesting...i'm sure i'll be stopping and maybe having lunch in one of the new restaruants opening up and walking through some shops in the future.

While my heart belongs to my hometown of Midway, AL (Monroe Co), I have fallen in love with Ashland. The people here are so friendly and caring. The town is absolutely beautiful and I am truly blessed to be associated with all the fine merchants on the Square and the wonderful people of Ashland. Ashland

I am very excited about this town of Ashland. New businesses are moving in and it is in the midst of a new streetscape for the main square and side streets. With the proper advertising, I believe that Ashland can become a really nice tourist area by being so close to Cheaha Mountain.
